Omisore Visits Ondo Acting Governor, Says Akeredolu Will Be Back “Soon”

The national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Iyiola Omisore has expressed his optimism that Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo, will soon return to his duties.
Omisore spoke on Friday when he paid a visit to Lucky Ayedatiwa, acting governor of the Ondo, in Akure, the state’s capital.
Ade Adetimehin, chairman of APC in Ondo; Oladunni Odu, secretary to the state government (SSG); commissioners, and members of the house of assembly were all present to welcome Omisore.
Speaking during the visit, Omisore said the leadership of the party is praying for Akeredolu’s recovery.
“Mr chairman only urged people to pray for the quick recovery of your governor; not on account of being incapacitated,” Omisore said.
On his part, the acting governor thanked Omisore’s delegation for the visit.
