Speaking at the event held at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, remarked on the necessity of celebrating the remarkable achievements of Ondo State’s outstanding students, who have distinguished themselves in various high-level competitions and examinations.

He emphasized that the event was more than just an award ceremony; it served as a testament to the dedication, hard work, and unyielding spirit of excellence embodied by the students, as well as the State Government’s firm commitment to educational achievement and human capital development.
Ajibefun posited that Education, Science, and Technology remain the bedrock of development and the primary tools through which societies undergo economic transformation.

He affirmed that the administration of Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa is committed to ensuring that every child in Ondo State has access to quality education that nurtures talent, encourages innovation, and prepares them for the challenges of the future.
The Commissioner urged the awardees to maintain the resilience and passion for knowledge they demonstrated throughout their competitions, emphasizing that their success has brought immense honour to themselves, their families, and Ondo State at large.
He expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for the OUR EASE Policy, which ensures that the state’s agenda for education, human capital development, and entrepreneurship is successfully achieved.
