Osun Polls: APC Raises Alarm, Alleges Accord Party Planning Fake Result

The Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Accord Party of planning to forge election result sheets for self-declaration of pseudo results of the election in order to cause confusion in the state.

The APC in a statement signed by its Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, late Tuesday night accused the ruling party of planning election fraud knowing full well that the people of the state have rejected them because of the unenviable performance of the incumbent administration in the past three years.

There is a leaked information about the plans of the Accord Party leaders in the state to manipulate the election results in favour of their candidate by generating fake election results.

“We are pleading with the national election umpire to keep the Accord Party chieftains and their foot soldiers on a very close watch in order to bungle their planned nefarious activities which could affect the conduct of the election.

The state police command should also work in tandem with the other sister statutory security services in the state to get to the root of the allegation with a view to exposing the characters behind the electoral crime.

Is it by force to serve the people who have seen in the past three years that the best of the incumbent governor cannot be optimally beneficial to the innocent people of the state?

Those who are behind these planned anti-social activities to cause crises in the state should have a rethink and remember that there’s no one that the law of the land cannot deal with.

“For God sake, desperation is antithetical to democratic norm in all climes and ours should not be different.

“The interest of the state should be paramount in the minds of all the political leaders and their followers.

“As a political party having the rules of law as its pathfinder, we pledge not to result to any untoward means to claim an underserved victory which could cause crises in the state.
