Oyebamiji Rallies Support In Osun, Hails FG Road Projects

The Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2026 election, Bola Oyebamiji, has intensified his engagement with residents and party supporters, highlighting growing grassroots support for his ambition and praising ongoing federal infrastructure projects in the state.
Oyebamiji stated this in a post shared on his X handle on Friday, where he recounted his participation in a series of political, community and development-related activities across Osun State.
The APC candidate said he began the day by addressing hundreds of commercial motorcycle riders and supporters at Osogbo Stadium during a “Victory Ride for AMBO”, describing the turnout as a sign of growing enthusiasm for his political movement.
“Their energy, commitment and confidence in our shared vision reaffirm that the momentum for a better Osun continues to grow.”
Oyebamiji also attended the inauguration and empowerment programme organised by the Tijaniyya Grassroots Mobilisation and Empowerment Initiatives of Nigeria (TIGMEN), Osun State chapter.
He commended the organisation for its efforts in supporting vulnerable members of society and promoting grassroots development.
“I commend the organisation for its dedication to uplifting the less privileged and strengthening our communities through grassroots empowerment.”
The APC candidate said the prayers and encouragement he received during the event further strengthened his commitment to running an inclusive government focused on the welfare of Osun residents.
Oyebamiji also joined the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, who represented President Bola Tinubu, alongside Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo and Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, at the flag-off of the Osogbo–Iwo–Ibadan and Osogbo–Akoda–Gbongan road projects in Osogbo.
He described the projects as evidence of the Federal Government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and connectivity across the state under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“These landmark infrastructure projects are testament to the commitment of the Renewed Hope Agenda to improving connectivity and accelerating development across our state.”
Oyebamiji pledged to continue working towards a more prosperous and inclusive Osun, adding that collaboration and development-focused initiatives remained central to his vision for the state.
