Pastor Chris Okafor reveals reason for divorcing his first wife
Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Global (Liberation City), has revealed details about his first marriage and the reason it ended.
In a recent interview, Okafor said the marriage ended after he found his wife with another man in their home. He said this discovery caused him a lot of pain and disappointment, which eventually led to the end of the marriage.
He explained that even though his mother asked him to forgive his wife and move on, he could not continue the relationship after what happened.
He said the situation made it too difficult for him to stay in the marriage.
He also said the divorce was handled legally and finalised in Lagos.
The case was concluded at a customary court in Lagos on September 18, 2014, under suit number ”IKJCC0172014.”
He said, “I divorced my first wife because I caught her with a man in my house and it was because of my mother that was saying, oh my son, forgive.”
