Police nab kidnapper, rescue abducted 7-year old girl in Ogun

Seven-year-old Mercy Akande who was kidnapped by a male customer at her mother’s Point of Sale terminal (PoS) terminal in the Sango Ota area of Ogun State on Monday, December 23, has been found.

The Ogun state police command gave the good news a statement in Ota on Sunday.

Police Command’s spokesperson in the state, SP Omolola Odutola, said the girl was rescued at Ayetoro Town in Ogun by the Police anti-kidnapping team, led by the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo.

The command also disclosed that all suspects involved in the abduction of the little girl have been arrested.
