On Monday, Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the crime scene. During the visit, he inspected the property and received briefings from the detectives assigned to the case. The police chief reaffirmed the command’s commitment to identifying and apprehending those responsible for the killings.

“The Command is resolved to leave no stone unturned in unraveling the circumstances surrounding the incident and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice,” a spokesperson for the command stated.

The incident was first brought to light after a neighbor reported suspicious activity around the victim’s residence. Upon arrival, police discovered signs of forced entry at the property. The body of the security guard was found at his post, while Oyesiku’s remains were discovered inside the residence.

While the vehicle has now been secured as part of the investigation, the search for the perpetrators remains ongoing. The police command has assured the public that all available resources are being utilized to solve the case and has called for continued community cooperation to help bring the culprits to justice.
