Popular Notorious TikTok Bandit Commander Alti’ Killed in Military Operation
Nigeria Military troops have eliminated a well-known bandit leader, Alti who was popular on TikTok.
Alti according to sources was neutralized in a recent military operation against bandits in Katsina State.
Reports say Alti terrorized communities along the Gusau to Funtua road and nearby areas in North-West Nigeria.
A reliable source from Army Headquarters said Alti’s death in the recent operation is a major setback for criminal groups in Zamfara, Katsina, and parts of Sokoto states.
Even though he was young, Alti became one of the most powerful bandit leaders in the region, reportedly running bases from southern Gusau to areas near Jibiya and Funtua.
From these bases, his fighters were said to have carried out kidnappings, ambushes, and IED attacks along important highways.
Other bandits called Alti “the money bank” because he controlled ransom money from many kidnappings. He was feared both in person and online, often showing weapons and making threats in TikTok videos.
