Pro-Tinubu Group Launches 2027 Re-election Campaign with 3,000-Man Walk in Lagos

A political support group, the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement (Southwest Zone), is set to officially flag off its campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid with a 3,000-man “Posterity Walk” in Lagos. The event, scheduled to take place at the Lagos Television premises in Ikeja, will gather supporters, stakeholders, and residents from across the six South-West states to kickstart grassroots mobilization for a second term.

According to the movement’s leadership, the rally aims to demonstrate solidarity with the administration and rally voters across the region. Group representatives highlighted that the walk serves as a public declaration of support for the President’s governance vision and ongoing economic reforms, marking the beginning of a sustained door-to-door outreach campaign spanning all six states in the South-West.

Participants will gather with banners and posters to showcase support for the administration’s policy direction as political organizations across the country begin positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.

While supporters argue that the administration’s economic policies are necessary for long-term growth and national development, opposition groups and critical voices continue to point to economic hardship and inflation as key concerns. Despite these debates, the South-West remains a vital political stronghold for the President, making grassroots engagement in the region a central priority for his political backers.
