PSC Promotes 48 Senior Officers
The Police Service Commission (PSC), has in its latest promotion exercise, elevated forty eight (48), senior police officers to their next ranks.
Head, Press and Public Relations Unit, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani who announced the new promotion in a statement on Friday, said, the commission approved the promotion of 40 Deputy Commissioners to the substantive rank of Commissioners of Police.
The Commission he said, also approved accelerated promotion for two Assistant Commissioners due to existing vacancy in the medical cadre.
Mr. Ani said, the new Commissioners of Police were promoted after an interactive session/interview with the Commission in a Plenary chaired by Justice Clara Bata Ogunbiyi JSC (rtd).
