Seyi Vibez Deletes Posts After Legal Threat From Hilda Baci

Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has removed a series of social media posts targeting celebrity chef Hilda Baci following a legal warning from her representatives.
The development comes amid an ongoing dispute between the artiste and his former record label, Dapper Music. Seyi Vibez, alongside former label signees Shallipopi and T.I Blaze, recently accused the label of withholding royalties and alleged financial irregularities involving large sums of money.
During the public exchange, Seyi Vibez made claims linking Hilda Baci to the controversy. He alleged that funds connected to the label were used to finance her cosmetic procedures and also criticized her food business.
In response, Hilda Baci’s legal team issued a formal cease-and-desist notice, describing the statements as defamatory and demanding their immediate removal. The lawyers also requested a public apology and retraction across the singer’s social media platforms, warning that legal action could follow if the demands were ignored.
Shortly after receiving the notice, Seyi Vibez deleted the posts referencing the chef. However, as of the time of reporting, he had not issued a public apology or retraction.
Seyi Vibez joined Dapper Music in 2022 before announcing his departure from the label in September 2024. Since then, he has continued his career as an independent artiste while the dispute with his former label remains unresolved.
