Shettima Donates N100m To Victims Of Maiduguri Market Fire
Kashim Shettima, vice presidential candidate of the APC has commiserated with the government and people of Borno State over the fire disaster that occurred in the early hours of Sunday.
Shettima announced the donation of one hundred million naira to the victims to cushion the immediate needs of the traders who lost property in the incident.
He said he has spoken with his principal, the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, who also sent words of comfort to the people and government of the state.
“My Principal has promised to come here in person to commiserate with the victims as well as made his personal donation,” Shettima said.
The APC vice presidential candidate commended the Borno State governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, for ensuring immediate succour for the people and identifying with them.
