Sowore Scores Tinubu Administration Failing Grade, Cites Widespread Sectoral Challenges

African Action Congress (AAkC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has issued a harsh assessment of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, scoring its three-year performance an “F9” across key governance metrics.

Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Tuesday, the publisher and political activist stated that the current administration has failed to demonstrate positive results across national security, energy, public education, healthcare, and economic management.

Highlighting specific sectoral concerns, Sowore pointed to frequent national grid collapses, rising food insecurity, and increasing poverty levels as indicators of worsening economic conditions. He also criticized policy directions in public education and health infrastructure, arguing that current initiatives fail to meet the basic needs of the population.

Sowore rejected suggestions aligning his stance with other opposition leaders calling for the president’s retirement, emphasizing instead that the administration’s leadership lacks the capacity to resolve the nation’s pressing socio-economic challenges as political parties prepare for the 2027 general elections.
