Temi Ajibade and Mr Eazi Reveal Wedding Planning Stress

Temi Ajibade, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, and her husband, musician Mr Eazi, have revealed the stress and disagreements they faced while planning their highly anticipated wedding. The couple shared their experience in a podcast video snippet posted on their Instagram page, #thehowfarpod.

According to Temi, planning three destination weddings within three months was overwhelming, saying “Three weddings within three months, like that’s insane, like do three destination events within three months”. Mr Eazi agreed, adding that they still have one more wedding to go.

The couple revealed that their initial plan for a simple and quiet court wedding in Nigeria was no longer feasible as it would not be private. Mr Eazi’s friend suggested having the court officials come to their residence for a private civil wedding, but Temi was not entirely comfortable with the idea.

However, the couple eventually settled on Monaco as their preferred location, with Temi explaining that the UK option did not feel sentimental enough. “Even Monaco is more sentimental,” she added.

Mr Eazi expressed his surprise at the administrative planning involved in getting married, saying “I thought getting married was just deciding you want to get married, and then you go to the court and sign papers, little did I know that there was a mountain of administration”.

The couple had their weddings in three different countries: Monaco, Iceland, and Dubai, as previously reported by PUNCH Online in September.
