Tottenham Reportedly Preparing Offer for Galatasaray Striker Victor Osimhen
Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to enter negotiations to sign Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen in a bid to further strengthen their attacking options.
Having already invested heavily in the transfer window with acquisitions such as Sandro Tonali, Matheus Fernandes, and Jan Paul van Hecke, the London club has identified the 27-year-old Nigerian international to lead their frontline. Reports indicate Tottenham have received sporting approval to open formal discussions and are considering an initial bid of £65m.
However, securing the transfer could present significant hurdles. Galatasaray currently value the striker at €150m, and Osimhen remains under contract with the Turkish side until 2029. The forward has also publicly stated that he will only consider a transfer if Galatasaray decides to sell.
Osimhen has maintained a strong scoring record across recent seasons, recording 107 goals in 145 appearances over the past four years, alongside 16 goals in 27 UEFA Champions League matches. He earned a Serie A title with Napoli during the 2022/23 season before securing back-to-back Süper Lig titles with Galatasaray in 2025 and 2026.
