Veteran Actor Ogogo’s Daughters Seek Help as Father Battles Stage 4 Cancer

Lima and Kira, Daughters of veteran actor Ogogo have revealed that her father is currently battling stage 4 cancer.

According to them, the hospital where he is receiving treatment has informed the family that he can no longer undergo chemotherapy.

They are therefore appealing to the public for recommendations on where her father can receive further medical treatment, whether in Nigeria or elsewhere, from a reputable specialist or cancer centre.

The family stressed that they are not asking for financial assistance. Their only request is for anyone with useful information about a credible treatment centre, cancer specialist or appropriate treatment option to come forward and help them.

They appealed to anyone with connections to suitable medical facilities or specialists to intervene, stressing that her father remains determined to survive.

“Please, if you know somebody that knows somebody that will be willing to treat him,” she pleaded. “This man has a strong will to live.”

“If you see him, you can’t even know that something is wrong that bad. It’s just starting to show. We didn’t even know until like three weeks ago,” she said.

Lima, who struggled to hold back tears, also disclosed that a family member, whom she identified as Yayi, had already provided significant assistance, but stressed that what the family urgently requires is medical intervention.

“My big uncle, Yayi, has helped. He has been of great help,” she said.

“We’re not here to ask for money. Nobody’s asking for money. But please, if you know somebody that knows somebody that can…” she said in the video.

Appealing for assistance, she said the family was willing to explore every possible medical option available.

“Please, we’re begging you. If you know somebody that knows somebody that will be willing to treat him, anything, we’re willing to try anything,” she said.

The actress became visibly emotional as she spoke about the possibility of losing her father.

“I can’t watch my daddy die. I can’t. I can’t. Please, I’m begging you,” she said.

As of the time of filing this report, the family had not disclosed the specific type of cancer affecting the actor or the hospital where he had been receiving treatment.

They, however, continued to appeal for urgent medical intervention as his battle with stage-four cancer intensifies.
