Veteran Nigerian Actor, “Ereke Ni Shop” is Dead

Chief Timothy Agboola, a veteran Yoruba broadcaster cum comic actor, popularly known as “Ereke Ni Shop,” has passed away.

The late comic actor died on Wednesday at a private hospital in Lagos after a long illness.

Colleagues and admirers have started sharing tributes after news of his death.

One of his associates, Idris Shogbola, shared the news on social media and expressed his sorrow over the broadcaster’s passing.

Agboola was well known for his work in Yoruba broadcasting, comedy, and promoting culture. He was seen as a passionate cultural ambassador and a proud supporter of Ijesa culture and tradition.
