Victor Osimhen Remains Top Transfer Target for Manchester United Ahead of New Season

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen remains a primary target for Manchester United as the English club continues its search for a world-class centre-forward ahead of the upcoming season.

Although Galatasaray are reluctant to part with the Nigerian international and have reportedly slapped a €150m price tag on the 27-year-old, Osimhen continues to top United’s priority list after alternative transfer options narrowed.

United are actively seeking reinforcements up front amid positional adjustments in their attacking unit. First-choice striker Benjamin Sesko is currently recovering from a shin injury that ruled him out of the club’s pre-season tour to Finland, while deputy forward Joshua Zirkzee is linked with a return to Italian football after a challenging spell at Old Trafford.

Having already secured mid-window signings including midfield duo Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, goalkeeper Karl Darlow, and young prospect Tynan Thompson, the Red Devils are aiming to complete three additional signings before the transfer deadline. Alongside an elite striker like Osimhen, club management is actively targeting a third central midfielder with formal talks underway for Roma’s Manu Koné and a left-back to complete their squad restructuring.
