VIDEO: Police Uncover Alleged Baby Factory in Ekiti, Rescue Six Children

Ekiti State Police have arrested five suspects and rescued six children after uncovering an alleged baby factory in the Ikere Local Government Area.
Commissioner of Police Joe Eribo confirmed the operation, stating it followed a credible tip-off received on the morning of January 24. The prime suspect, 43-year-old Onyechi Oluwadare, was apprehended alongside four others at a location behind Inisa Hotel and Suites along Ise-Ekiti Road.
Also taken into custody were Onuoha Gloria (28), Victoria Linus (25), Ihegbogu Mercy (21), and Emmanuel Esther (23), who was described as heavily pregnant.
During a search of the premises, authorities recovered six children between the ages of two and nine, who are believed to have been confined and exploited. Police also found baby delivery materials, rolls of dexamethasone tablets, and bottles of Goya oil at the scene.
Oluwadare, however, denied operating a baby factory, claiming the building was used only as a prayer center for those seeking spiritual help.
Commissioner Eribo stated that investigations into case are ongoing and suspects will be charged in court upon their conclusion.
