Wike Dismisses Critics, Says Only Tinubu Can Remove Him

Speaking during a visit to his political stronghold of Obio/Akpor in Rivers State, Wike emphasized that political power is earned through strength. He asserted the area’s decisive role in determining who governs the state.
The visit occurs amidst heightened political tension in Rivers State. The state House of Assembly, whose leadership is aligned with Wike, has recently commenced fresh impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara, escalating a protracted crisis between the governor and his predecessor.
