“You Failed To Assist The Party”, APC Suspends SGF, Boss Mustapha
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwadabawa ward, Yola north LGA of Adamawa state, has suspended Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF).
Mu’azu Kabiru, chairperson of APC Gwadabawa, in a press conference on Wednesday in Yola said Mustapha failed to assist the party at the ward level when his attention was needed.
During the presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), won the Yola north LGA.
In the governorship election, Aisha Binani, governorship candidate of the APC, won the LGA but not by a wide margin.
Kabiru said the SGF has failed to recognise the importance of the party’s executives in Gwadabawa who have worked to keep the ward united.
The ward chairman did not give a duration for the suspension.
However, Samaila Tadawus, acting chairperson of the APC in Adamawa, dismissed the suspension, saying that it was unconstitutional.
