Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing Osun East Senatorial District, has arrived at the Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo for questioning regarding alleged inflammatory remarks.

The lawmaker arrived at the police command on Wednesday afternoon alongside the Commissioner of Police in charge of election security, Samuel Erale.

The police invitation follows statements allegedly made by the senator directed at members of the Accord Party in Ilesa.

Security agencies had previously issued warnings to political figures in the state to refrain from inciting rhetoric capable of triggering violence or escalating political tensions ahead of the upcoming governorship election.
