2 Stray Dogs Maul 36-year-old Man To Death In Lagos

A 36-year-old man has been mauled to death by two stray dogs( German shepherds) in Lagos.

The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this via a Twitter post on Friday, restating the need for dog owners to safely leash their pets.

According to him, the owner is liable for any damage caused by the pet.

The spokesman who disclosed this on Twitter said the incident happened at about 11.30pm.

He wrote; ”A few days back at about 11:30pm, two German shepherds strayed into the street and mauled a 36 year old man.

“He later died in hospital. Case is ongoing. Leash your dogs!

” You are liable for any damage caused by your pets”, the tweet read.
