35 Lagos lawmakers storm court
35 lawmakers from the Lagos State House of Assembly arrived at the Ikeja High Court on Friday morning.
The lawmakers were taken to court by Mudashiru Obasa, who is challenging his removal as the Speaker of the Assembly.
Friday was fixed for the hearing of the case as the tussle in the Assembly continues.
Obasa was removed while away in the U.S. a few weeks ago, and the lawmakers elected Hon. Mojisola Meranda to take over from him as Speaker.
The case is being presided over by Hon. Justice Y.R. Pinheiro
