(VIDEO)- US Warns Iran of ‘World-Class Blockade’ as Hegseth Addresses IRGC Directly

In a direct message to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the United States is closely monitoring the movement of Iranian military assets and their deployment locations.

Speaking to reporters, Hegseth stated that U.S. Armed Forces are capable of rapidly transitioning from major combat operations to enforcing what he described as a “world-class blockade.” He cautioned that Washington could escalate further if necessary.

Hegseth also reiterated that, under directives from former President Donald Trump, the United States is committed to preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. He noted that this goal could be achieved either through a negotiated diplomatic agreement or through sustained military pressure.
