Heartwood Foundation provides six solar boreholes for Itapa Ekiti

A Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in Abuja Heartwood Humanitarian Foundation has donated six solar powered boreholes to Itapa Ekiti, enhancing access to clean water for the residents.

 

The boreholes is expected to significantly improve health and sanitation in the area.

The founder of the NGO Heartwood Humanitarian Foundation Mr Oni Martins who is the son of Mr Oni Gabriel Adebayo, an elder statesman in Itapa Community in a statement said the boreholes donated was borne out of his commitment to the community development and to inspire other Itapa sons and daughters in the diaspora to also remember their home to add to her growth and development.

The regent of Itapa Ekiti Chief Fadekemi Makanjuola Ogunleye who appreciated the donor for the milestone facilities called others to emulate the gesture.

The Olori Awo of Itapa Kingdom, Chief Ajayi Temitope who expressed joy prayed for the donor and the people of the community.

Eye Ijakadi Egbe Quarters High Chief Bosede Falumo who spoke on behalf of the women thanked God for witnessing a moment of joy in the community.

The six inaugurated boreholes were situated at Egbe Street, Egena Egetun, palace, Catholic church and Okeliju Streets.
