In a statement released on Saturday following his victory at the party’s governorship primary election, Wadada, who currently represents Nasarawa West Senatorial District, described his emergence as a collective mandate from APC members across all 13 local government areas of the state.
He said the mandate was given by party members and supporters who share a common vision of progress, unity, and inclusive development for Nasarawa State.
Wadada expressed deep gratitude to God, APC members, and the people of the state for making him the party’s flagbearer.
“I sincerely thank members of our great party for the confidence reposed in me through their support and votes during the governorship primary election,” he said.
“I am equally grateful to our party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and the good people of Nasarawa State whose prayers and unwavering belief in our shared vision made this victory possible.”
He also paid tribute to Governor Abdullahi Sule for his leadership and commitment to the party’s growth and stability, acknowledging his role in ensuring a peaceful and transparent primary process.
Wadada stressed that his emergence as the party’s candidate is a victory for all APC faithful and the people of Nasarawa State, regardless of political affiliation. He called on all aspirants and their supporters to unite behind the common goal of advancing the state’s development.
“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every party faithful and every citizen who desires a more prosperous and progressive Nasarawa State,” he said.
