NAF Airstrikes Destroy Terrorist Camps in Borno, Neutralise Several Fighters

The Nigerian Air Force says precision airstrikes have hit terrorist hideouts and logistics bases at Biramiri, in the Gezuwa area of Borno State, killing a number of insurgents.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information for the Air Force, disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that the operation followed credible intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance reports.

He explained that the coordinated strikes destroyed key terrorist facilities, further weakening the insurgents’ operational strength.

According to Ejodame, sustained air offensives are causing growing panic and confusion among terrorist elements across the Sambisa axis, as continuous bombardments deny them safe havens and restrict their movements.

He added that the Air Force, working alongside ground troops of Operation Hadin Kai and other security agencies, remains determined to maintain relentless pressure on terrorist networks while protecting civilians and restoring lasting peace in the North-East.
