Tinubu Swears in New RMAFC, NPC Commissioners
President Bola Tinubu on Monday inaugurated two new Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and six Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC).
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Among those sworn in as RMAFC commissioners were Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed, representing Kaduna State.
President Tinubu also administered the oath of office to six newly appointed commissioners of the National Population Commission.
The new NPC commissioners are:
Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi – Ekiti State
Nasiru Mu’azu – Zamfara State
Isaka Alada Yahaya – Kwara State
Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda – Katsina State
Suleiman Umar – Jigawa State
Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo – Sokoto State
Following the inauguration, the President proceeded to preside over the Federal Executive Council meeting.
The meeting marked the first FEC session in nearly two months and was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the Federal Executive Council, and other senior government officials.
The inauguration of the new commissioners is expected to strengthen the operations of both the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission and the National Population Commission as the Federal Government continues efforts to improve fiscal administration and demographic planning across the country.
