Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa

Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has called on residents to foster unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility to advance the development agenda of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s administration. He emphasized that sustainable progress is only attainable through mutual trust and collaboration between the government and its citizens.

Idahosa made the appeal during a thanksgiving service held in honor of the late mother of the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Jerry Uwangue. The event was attended by various government officials, political leaders, and clerics.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, the deputy governor urged the public to actively participate in civic duties and choose constructive engagement over unproductive criticism to build a more prosperous state.

Reaffirming the administration’s commitment to welfare-focused policies, Idahosa assured residents that impactful projects would continue across the state, while calling for continued prayers for peace and stability. He also commended the Uwangue family for their tribute to their late matriarch, noting that such gatherings serve as a reminder of the values of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
