Florence Ajimobi Assumes Duty As Nigeria’s Ambassador To Austria

Florence Ajimobi has formally commenced duties as Nigeria’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria after presenting her Letters of Credence to Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.

Ajimobi expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the assignment, saying she accepted the responsibility with humility and a commitment to represent Nigeria with dignity and purpose.

She noted that Nigeria and Austria have maintained longstanding diplomatic relations, with opportunities to strengthen cooperation in trade and investment, innovation, sustainable development and people-to-people relations.

The ambassador said she looks forward to opening new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.

She also pledged to serve the interests of Nigeria and Nigerians with dedication and honour.
