Oyebanji lifts Embargo On State Accounts

Mr Biodun Oyebanji, Ekiti State Governor, has lifted the embargo placed on state government accounts with immediate effect.

A terse statement by Yinka Oyebode, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor on Monday disclosed that the new directive supercedes earlier one issued on October 16th.

“All accounting officers and financial institutions are urged to note the new directive which supersedes the order freezing the State government accounts as announced on October 16, 2022.”
