Housewife, 27, Stabs husband To Death Over Sex In Oyo

The Oyo police command has disclosed that it has arrested a 27-year-old housewife who allegedly stabbed her husband to death over demand for sex.

Police spokesperson in the state, Adewale Osifeso explained that the woman stabbed her husband with a knife in his chest when he attempted to have sexual intercourse with her.

Osifeso added that the wife’s refusal to have sex resulted in a struggle which made the deceased to smash her phone on the ground.

In reprisal, the housewife was said to have grabbed a knife and stabbed the man.

The police spokesperson said the couple had earlier separated for three months over misunderstanding, adding that the incident occurred the same day they were reconciled to live together.

He said the suspect confessed to committing the crime and would be charged to court after investigation is completed.

He added that the housewife was among the 25 persons paraded over allegations bordering on murder, armed robbery, burglary, stealing, cultism, kidnap, and conspiracy in the state.
