Guest collapses, dies in Niger Govt house lodge

The police command in Niger state says a male guest has died after collapsing inside one of the lodges within the government house in Minna.

The deceased, identified by Wasiu Abiodun, police spokesperson for Niger state, as Gregory, had gone to visit Sammy Adigun, chairman of the Niger Food Security Systems and Logistics Company Limited, when the incident occurred.

He was said to have suddenly fallen ill after realising his host was unavailable.

Medical personnel from the IBB Specialist Hospital, Minna, were reportedly contacted, but the visitor reportedly died before help could arrive.
