Abdul Samad Rabiu Pledges Bonus for Super Eagles’ AFCON Progress

Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group, has announced financial incentives for Nigeria’s national football team following their advancement to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.

In a statement on social media, Rabiu congratulated the Super Eagles on their 2-0 quarter-final victory over Algeria. To encourage the team, he pledged a $500,000 reward for winning the semi-final, with an extra $50,000 for each goal scored in that match.

Should Nigeria win the final, Rabiu further promised a $1,000,000 bonus plus $100,000 per goal in the championship decider.

The Super Eagles, who secured their semi-final spot on Wednesday, are scheduled to face host nation Morocco this Wednesday in Rabat.
