Anti-thuggery Panel Demolishes APC Campaign Office In Zamfara

A campaign office of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) being used by suspected thugs have been demolished.
Chairman of Zamfara State Anti-thuggery Committee, Bello Bakyasuwa disclosed this on Sunday in Gusau the state capital.
Bakyasuwa said the demolished structure served as a hideout for the thugs to commit crime.
Bakyasuwa accused them of social vices that were not acceptable to the society.
He said the occupants of the party office disguise to commit indecent and criminal acts in the name of campaign.
“Based on the available intelligence report to my committee on the party campaign office which we demolished today, indicated that the occupants are selling spare parts of stolen vehicles, motorcycles and drugs.
“We even recovered some women clothes during a raid of the said office,” Bakyasuwa said.
Bakyasuwa stated that the committee is wthorking round the clock to fight against political thuggery, drugs abuse and other related criminality.
He did not say if any of the thugs was caught in any criminal act nor had any been arrested, adding that the committee was to ensure a hitch free electioneering campaign by all political parties in the state.
