Arsenal Crowned EPL Champions, Ending 22-Year Drought

English football giants Arsenal have officially been crowned Premier League champions after Manchester City stumbled to a dramatic 1-1 draw away to AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
The result at the Vitality Stadium confirmed Arsenal as champions with one game left to play, ending the North London club’s painful 22-year wait for a league title. It is Arsenal’s first Premier League triumph since the famous “Invincibles” season of 2003/2004 under legendary manager Arsène Wenger.
Mikel Arteta finally delivered the trophy after several near-misses in recent seasons, having watched his side finish as runners-up multiple times during the dominance of Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. Arsenal entered the day needing City to drop points, and Bournemouth delivered the decisive blow in front of their home supporters.
Teen sensation Eli Junior Kroupi stunned City with a brilliant first-half strike before Erling Haaland rescued a late equaliser deep into stoppage time. The draw, however, was not enough to keep City’s title hopes alive, leaving Arsenal with an unassailable lead at the top of the table.
Scenes of jubilation immediately erupted around the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal supporters celebrated the club’s return to the summit of English football. Videos circulating online showed fans singing, waving scarves, and setting off flares across North London after the final whistle in Bournemouth.
Arsenal’s title-winning campaign has been built on defensive discipline, tactical consistency, and key performances from stars including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard and goalkeeper David Raya, who helped the club maintain one of the league’s strongest defensive records this season.
