Atiku Condemns Alleged Invasion Of Kaduna PDP Rally Venue By Thugs

Presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar has condemned the alleged invasion of the venue of the ongoing PDP Campaign Rally in Kaduna by thugs.
Videos showing thugs with cutlasses attacking rally attendees had surfaced online on Monday afternoon.
In a set of tweets on Monday afternoon, Atiku labelled the alleged invasion as “undemocratic”, while calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure a free and free election.
“I have just received emergency reports of attacks on @OfficialPDPNig supporters by thugs sponsored to scuttle the ongoing PDP campaign rally in Kaduna State. This is undemocratic and against the Peace Accord all parties signed up for just a few weeks ago.
“I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to call on all parties to call their supporters and members to order and to ensure that campaigns, just as with the elections themselves, are kept free, fair and safe”, the tweets read.
