Bauchi Government Sacks All LG Chairmen

The Bauchi State government has dissolved all the state 20 local government caretaker committees in the state.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Ibrahim Kashim on Tuesday disclosed in a statement that Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the dissolution in Bauchi.

“The Chairmen of the Local Government Caretaker Committees are therefore directed to hand over the affairs of the Local Governments to their respective Heads of Administration pending the appointment of substantive Caretaker Committees.

“The Government wishes all the dissolved Local Government Caretaker Committee members success in their future endeavors,” he said.
