Bauchi Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Killing Two Persons For Rituals

Bauchi State Police Command says it has arrested a 40-year-old man, Ibrahim Umar in connection with the alleged abduction, killing and burial of two casual workers in a shallow grave in Taranka village, Gamawa Local Government Area.

This was contained in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil,

According to the statement, “on 10/09/2023 at about 0958hrs, one Adamu Mohammed, aged 57, of Taranka village, Gamawa LGA, Bauchi State, reported at the Gamawa Divisional Police Headquarters that a 36-year-old man, Kabiru Idi, and an 18-year-old young man, Bato Ali, were missing for over a month.”

According to the statement, one Ibrahim Umar, of Dankunkuru village, Ungogo LGA, Kano State, who came to the village, Taranka, to buy charcoal was suspected to have perfected the abduction of the two victims
