BBNaija Season 11 to Kick Off July 26 With N160m Grand Prize

MultiChoice Nigeria has revealed that the 2026 season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will start on Sunday, July 26.

At a press briefing on Wednesday, the organisers said this year’s winner will receive N160 million, the biggest grand prize since the show began in 2006.

The prize includes N100 million in cash and a new SUV.

Atinuke Babatunde, the executive head of content and channels for West Africa at MultiChoice, said: “Big Brother Naija has consistently redefined entertainment in Africa by bringing together authentic storytelling, compelling personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers.

“Season 11 builds on that legacy with even bigger stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will keep audiences engaged from premiere night through to the finale.”

The launch show starts at 7 pm on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family. You can also catch the 24-hour show on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 49.

Organisers recently held auditions for the 11th season of BBNaija. The in-person screenings took place from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.

Auditions were free and open to anyone aged 21 or older with valid identification. Opeyemi Ayanwale, also known as Imisi, won the last edition on October 5, 2025.5.
