Celebrity Boxing Victory: E-Money Presents N50m Cheque to Carter Efe

Businessman and socialite Nwata Anayo Eze, popularly known as E-Money, has presented a N50 million cheque to streamer Carter Efe for his victory over singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match.
E-Money pledged the N50 million reward on Friday, May 1st, after Carter Efe’s victory.
The presentation was held at E-Money’s residence and recorded on video, which circulated online.
Carter Efe had earlier announced on Wednesday that he was heading to E-Money’s residence to receive the cash award after an earlier public remark about the delayed payment of the reward.
Reacting with a picture on Instagram, Carter Efe wrote, “Congratulations to me. Jesussss”.
Carter Efe was joined by singer Kcee, music executive Soso Soberekon, and members of his team during the handover.
THN had reported that Carter Efe claimed a convincing victory against street-pop star Portable in his boxing debut at Chaos in the Ring 4 event held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, earning a unanimous decision after three energetic rounds.
All three judges scored the bout 30–27 in favour of Efe, who effectively used his height and reach advantage to dictate the contest.
After the match, Portable complained about his defeat, alleging foul play a day after their match.
Reacting in a series of posts on his Instagram story, Portable accused organisers of failing to properly score the punches he landed during the bout, insisting the result did not reflect his performance.
