The exercise was led by the Managing Director of the Board, Amb. Dr. Lucky Enehita-Inegbenehi, alongside officials and field personnel who engaged traders, shop owners, motorists and other stakeholders along the corridor.
The intervention focused on addressing indiscriminate waste disposal, raising environmental awareness and encouraging members of the public to take greater responsibility for maintaining clean surroundings.
Traders and shop owners were particularly sensitized on the importance of using designated waste disposal points and refraining from dumping refuse on roads, medians, walkways and drainage channels.
