EFCC Nabs 49 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Abuja Estate

Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 49 internet fraud suspects.

In a sting operation, the suspects within the 19 and 32 years age bracket were arrested at various apartments within the Navy Estate, Cajaah-Orozo, a suburb of Abuja, following credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.

Items seized from them include over fifty mobile phones of different brands, fifteen laptops and a Lexus ES330 salon.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigations are concluded.
