Fire guts supermarket in Abuja, destroys goods

Fire razed IC World Emporia Centre, a popular shopping mall in the Gwarimpa axis of Abuja, the federal capital territory (FCT) in the early hours of Wednesday (today).

the cause of the fire incident at the popular Abuja shopping mall was yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

Reports gathered revealed that the FCT fire service officials have been diligently working to extinguish the flames.

Unfortunately, goods and property have already been destroyed.

The unfortunate incident comes just months after a similar fire incident at Ebeano Supermarket in Abuja.
