Flooding: Buhari Approves 12,000 Tonnes Of Food For Flood Victims
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the release of 12,000 metric tonnes of food items to victims of flooding across the country.
This was confirmed in a statement on the presidency Twitter handle on Sunday.
According to them, The food item will be distributed through the National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) to the communities affected by flood.
“President #MBuhari has approved the release to #nemanigeria of 12,000 metric tonnes of food items from the National Strategic Reserve, for distribution to communities affected by flooding, across the country.
“NEMA has since commenced transportation of these items to the States.” the presidency tweeted.
