Four Arrested Over Attack on FRSC Officers in Ondo

The Ondo State Police Command has arrested four suspects for allegedly attacking officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and causing damage to their property. The incident went down on December 16, 2025, along the Akure-Ipetu Road at the FUTA axis, where FRSC officers were on duty.

According to the police, the suspects – Olamiju Olayinka, 28, male; Olamiju Adeseke, 28, female; Olamiju Timileyin, 27, male; and Toheeb Oluwaseun, 32, male – allegedly got violent with the FRSC team led by Fadimo Abiola.

Police spokesperson, Jimoh Kazeem, said preliminary investigations show the FRSC officers were assaulted and their property damaged while they were doing their job.
