Galatasaray Reject £111m Bid for Victor Osimhen, Declare Striker Untouchable
Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly rejected a massive £111 million transfer offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for star striker Victor Osimhen, insisting the Nigerian forward is not for sale.
The Turkish club’s firm stance comes amid mounting interest from Premier League side Arsenal, who have reportedly discussed the 27-year-old’s availability during broader club-to-club negotiations. Those ongoing talks have also involved discussions regarding Arsenal forwards Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, though no official agreement has been reached.
Despite the growing European and Middle Eastern interest, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek publicly shut down transfer speculation, stating the club will not sell Osimhen under any financial terms.
Özbek emphasized that the club will not sanction any deal that does not serve Galatasaray’s best interests, reiterating that Osimhen remains a vital part of the squad’s future following his permanent sign-on after a successful loan spell.
For now, the Turkish giant’s strong stance effectively blocks both Al-Hilal’s record bid and Arsenal’s inquiries as the transfer window progresses.
