Gov Kefas Receives PFN National Secretary in Jalingo

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, says he believes God brought him into leadership of the state for a purpose, which he remains committed to fulfilling.

Governor Kefas stated this in Jalingo when he received the National Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop David Bakari, and his delegation.

The Governor said his commitment to prayer, including the all-night prayer programmes he conducts in his church, is aimed at sustaining his spiritual connection to what he described as his God-given mandate to lead the state.

Governor Kefas told the PFN delegation that his administration had made significant investments in strengthening security across Taraba, noting that the establishment of the 10 Division of the Nigerian Army in Jalingo had further enhanced the state’s security architecture.

He also disclosed that the installation of night-landing facilities at the Danbaba Suntai Airport in Jalingo had reached about 90 per cent completion.

According to him, the administration would also construct an aircraft fuelling facility at the airport to improve aviation services and support flight operations.

The Governor expressed appreciation to the PFN leadership for its continued partnership and spiritual support, assuring the delegation of his administration’s commitment to initiatives that promote peace, security and development across the state.

The National Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop David Bakari, is in Taraba as part of preparations for the PFN Biannual Conference scheduled to hold in Jalingo in March next year.
