“He Is Creating Confusion”, APC Rejects Tambuwal’s Renaming Of Educational Institutions

The Sokoto state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of creating confusion for changing the names of some educational institutions in the state, six days to vacate office.

APC chairman in the state, Isa Sadiq Achida, made the accusation in an interview with some newsmen on Saturday.

He said Tambuwal’s motive was to create confusion and problems for the incoming administration but he would fail woefully.

“Every right thinking person knows what the Governor did was wrong.

“His motive was to create confusion and problems for the incoming government but he would not succeed,” he said

“You can’t renames institutions that were built by others. Does this means the Governor did not build a single project that he can name.

“And why was he in a hurry, and why the decision was not made iuntil now when he is leaving office?

“I told you the decision was made in bad faith and it was meant to create confusion in the state,” he said.

“Look at what he did to our late President, Shehu Shagari, was it not an insult to his family?

“He changed the name of Shehu Shagari College of Education to Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki College of Education, while the Sokoto State University of Education, which has never been in existence is named after the former President,” he said.
